Shipping & Returns

Shipping chocolate can get sticky. We work hard to ensure that our chocolate is delivered fresh and in perfect condition. To reduce the risk of melted chocolate on orders in transit to warmer climates (70 degrees and higher), we use insulated packaging and gel packs to protect the chocolates. You may be charged an additional fee at checkout to cover the additional cost of these items when shipping to warm weather climates.

We do not make any money off of shipping.

Shipping Methods

We ship within the continental United States only.

We offer local pick-up for customers residing within the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire, free shipping for orders of $50, or more, USPS Flat Rate, and USPS Express Mail 1-Day shipping.

Free Shipping

For orders of $50, or more, we will pick up the tab for shipping. Be sure to select "Free Shipping" during checkout.

Local Pickup

If you live in the New Ipswich, NH region, you may choose to pick-up your order from our retail location. To ensure someone is around and expects your arrival; we will contact you to setup an appointment.

USPS Flat Rate Shipping

USPS Flat Rate Shipping provides 1 to 3 day delivery. Flat Rate delivery times are depicted on the map below.

Delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect delivery timelines, ship dates and arrival dates. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to weather, incorrect address provided to us, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Order Processing

Our confections are made to order; therefore, it may take upwards of 72 hours to get your order shipped. We process and ship by order number, so there may be delays during peak times. If you need your order by a certain date, then please call (603) 554-0609, and we will attempt to accommodate your request.

Shipping Days

Depending upon the delivery zone, Priority Mail Flat Rate deliveries are shipped on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in order to avoid having the chocolates sit over the weekend in an unconditioned warehouse.

Returns Policy

As our products are perishable, all food sales are final.

Porter Hill Sweets will be happy to replace any item(s) in the unlikely event that they might be damaged or spoiled during transit. To make sure that you are satisfied with the product you receive, please inspect the contents as soon as your order arrives.

Porter Hill Sweets is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location or being undelivered as a result of incorrect address information you supply to us, or for the inability of a recipient to receive the package on the day you specify that it should be delivered.

We wish we could assure proper handling and prompt receipt of packages once they have been delivered to the correct mailing address by the third party carrier (UPS, FedEx or USPS), but this, of course, is out of our control. To enjoy the full flavor and freshness of our products, we urge you to make the necessary arrangements beforehand.

Shipping/handling charges are not refundable. Refunds can only be credited to the originating credit card.
